      I work at University College Dublin as a Researcher. I am originally from the UK and moved to Dublin in 2021 after finishing a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering. My field of research combines science (microbiology and chemistry) and engineering, I am also improving my knowledge of geology at this stage of my career.

      Outside of work I enjoy hiking, cycling, photography and painting.

    • My Typical Day

      I cycle to work, starting between 8 am and 9 am. I work in a lab much of the time. I finish at around 5 pm. I occasionally work at weekends in the lab.
