      Hi there, I’m assuming that you’re asking about making fog, smoke is the byproduct of combustion and water does not combust. To make fog add glycerine to the water. You then use a large wick to keep a heating coil wet and run it at about 200C. Use a fan to blow air over the coil and you will get fog coming off it.
