• Question: What kind of bugs could be In the sea?

      We test for E. Coli & a bug called Interococcus Faecalis in sea water. Both of these bugs are found in pooh either from humans or animals!

      Blue flag beaches around the country must have the sea water tested very two weeks during the summer months. The concentration of these bugs must be very small for the beach to retain/keep its Blue flag. If the conentration of either of these bugs increase we must investiage to see where the bugs are coming from!
