Excellent Question! Well our drinking water comes from lakes, rivers & groundwaters. With a rise in world temperature which happens as a result of increased carbon dioxide concentrations in the atmosphere water could evaporate from lakes, rivers etc so the volume of fresh water available for drinking might decrease- that would be pretty bad for the human race.

Also did you know higher temperatures will have an impact on the fish aswell. If global temperatures increse then surface water temperatures will increase. As the temperature of water increases the solubility of oxygen in the water decreases – this means the level of oxygen in rivers/lakes decreases which could have an impact on the poor fish.
