• Question: do you aim to work at this for life or retire early

      I aim to work at this until I retire, I want to retire, I won’t be that kind of professor that stay to his position and work until he/she die.

      The aim is to stay in the field for as long as I can until regular retirement. I have some industry experience and now I am associated with academia. I would go with the flow where I can keep learning.

      I’ll keep working as long as I enjoy the challenges and have good colleagues. You have many options with a science degree and I’m not sure if I’ll stay in academia or go back to a role in an industrial company.

      I’ll continue working until regular retirement and then see what I want to do for the rest of my life, travel maybe.

      I definitely aim to have a life after retirement. If my health is good and I keep enjoying my work, I probably will work until normal retirement.

      I aim to work in Science until I retire, but I am sure that I will keep conencted with it for life!
