• Question: What was your favourite thing to do as a child

      As a child I loved arts and crafts. I still do. I know how to knit, sew, cross stitch and so much more. I also loved to learn how to cook and bake. During the summer, I would go to kids cooking camps.

      I loved to do DIY from cooking, baking to construct some gadget or find a way to reuse some object in a funny way. I also loved to do some music.

      I’ve always been a music fan so when I ever I could get away with it, it would be to crank up the volume of my parents speakers and blast some of my favourite music.

      As a child I loved playing Cricket and Lawn tennis and also doing some of the science projects

      After school, I’d fight with my siblings for the newspaper to read the comic strips and get the Jumbled word of the day. We also had a weekly Young Times magazine subscription that I loved because it was full of science stories and ideas, also written by other children my age.

      I loved arts and spent a few years in school learning to play piano. I also loved swimming and basketball.

      I adored horse riding when I was younger. I started horse riding when I was 5 and started competing when I was 8. Absolutely loved it!

      I danced for 15 years as a kid, so that’s definitely one of my favourites! I also used to do lots of arts and crafts with my grandmother, and going to visit her in the summer was one of my favourite things to do.

      I was a lot into sports at school, would read comics/magazines, and travel a lot with my family.
