      Scientists are discovering a lot of things about Mars every day. One recent discovery published in a scientific paper was about evidence of an underground lake under the north pole of the planet.
      Given that most probably life began in water scientists speculate that there can be life there in the form of microorganisms. Well, that cannot be verified until somebody goes there and sees đŸ™‚

      I guess we are at very initial stage of understanding and learning about life on Mars, with previous Mars rover that were sent and satellites that were put in the mars orbit, scientists gathered and are regularly gathering large amount of data.

      Because of the distance between Earth and Mars, there is also huge work going in developing better inter-planteray communications so it’s a hot area and topic. We will be seeing more advancement in this filed in next decade or so.
