Yes! That’s the main reason why I’m doing research!
It is great to answer questions – or partially answer questions – that no one knows how to answer yet.
Sometimes we don’t get positive results in our research, so we don’t get to answer the questions, but that is not lost at all! By having negative results we know what *doesn’t* work to answer that question and so next time we and the other researchers don’t need to repeat that! That’s how research works! It sounds great, doesn’t it? =)
Research is like solving a mystery. Sometimes it is a great fun đŸ™‚ and some times it can be very difficult to find the solutions. But once you do solve the puzzle it is great đŸ˜‰
