  Apple is not slowing down the battery but adding more components to make it better, let’s say a better camera and some new application being added, these additions in turn consume more battery. In terms of improvement they also add more transistors to make it faster which consume more battery hence the phone seems to slow down the battery.

Question: how is it possible for apple to slow down the battery on i phones?
