• Question: if you were to win the lotto [euro millions] what would you do with the money first

      Interesting question, especially because you asked what I would do first. Because I would like to do many things, but the first will probably be something more special.

      To be fair, the first thing to do would be to pay off my loan from the bank on the house.

      Then maybe I will invest in a small restaurant that will provide nice homemade food :).

      I would go traveling also.

      I’m not sure.

      Buying stuff with lotto money can be a bad idea, so I don’t think I’d do that. For example, if I bought a really big house and spent all my lotto winnings on that, I wouldn’t be able to afford things like the electricity bill, or tax on the property, or basic upkeep and maintenance. I’d be broke again!

      I would like to think that I would use it to fund some sort of research project. I don’t have any debts (thankfully), so I think I could comfortably funnel the money into some research that I thought was useful.

      Although… @Dimitar’s restaurant/travelling idea sounds pretty awesome…
