      So I’m generally really bad remembering names and faces and so I kept calling this guy John the whole day during a conference and when I went to introduce him to somebody else I said ‘ this is John’ and he goes like: ‘well, it’s actually Derek’…

      My face dropped. =O

      Errr…..

      I once crashed a server running a major research project hours before we were supposed to demo it.

      Minor heart attack.

      Manged to fix it.

      Let’s never speak of it again.

      P.S. Everyone on the team was lovely about it and helped me to get the thing back online. The only person who was freaking out was me. It says a lot about experience when people know how to deal with these problems.
