We’re not sure if it’s a discovery yet (we need to test and be sure), but as a result of some of the work I have done with historians, we may have been able to identify some examples of really sketchy political and financial transactions going on between landowners in Ireland during the 1600s. I think that’s kind of cool because historians have been trying to work this stuff out for a while, but thanks to the speed and perspective that computers could provide we were able to help them to identify evidence that supported their suspicions. They still have a lot of work to do though in order to cement that finding.
