• Question: why cant chickens fly

      Probably for roughly the same reasons why you can’t fly. Their wings are too small and their muscles aren’t developed enough to give them the lift they need to go airborne. Precisely why chickens evolved this way, however, I don’t know. It might have something to do with how they were domesticated by early farmers, but try asking someone in the Genes Zone about this one. I reckon they might be more clued in on this subject.

      Too small wings and too weak muscles to lift the weight of their body.
