Rhinovirus is the virus which causes the common-cold. most people think that a cold is caused by bacteria and that if they take antibiotics they would get better, however antibiotics dont work on viruses so antibiotics wont help with the common cold.
Next time you have a bad cold, try and let your body fight it off. Your immune system is much more effective against viruses then antibiotics which dont actually work on viruses at all!

Anything “rhino” normally refers to the nose. Hay fever or allergies to dust are forms of “rhinitis” – and of course the rhinocerus…
