      In many fields, there is a lot of pressure individuals to “shine”, but in fact a lot of progress is made though collaboration. Driving and co-ordinating collaborations is often a thankless task, but always improves a field.

      I would ensure that more funding was available for important medical research!

      Definitely more money to help us do more research, and more of emphasis on communicating to the public how our work is helping move science forward (never know where the next great discovery will come from).
