        Hi Odhrán! Like I said in the chat I think that in a universe as big as we think it is, combined with the fact that WE exist (despite the very low probability), there must be life out there somewhere. I don’t know if we’ll ever find it though… like I said, the universe is a very big neighbourhood.

        I think there is a strong possibility that sentient life exists in the universe based on the sheer number of stars and planets in our universe.

        I think that it is fairly likely that life exists elsewhere (and maybe even closer to home than thought previously). The nature of that life is still yet to be determined though – it may be an advanced lifeform or it may be just a string of amino acids. It may be based on silicon rather than carbon – there are infinite immeasurables and given the size of space we may never find it!
