      I’m for antibiotics when used appropriately but am against overuse of them. Sometime the only way to treat bacterial infections is with antibiotics. one of the major hospital bug becteria is clostridium dificile. I previously worked on a prodyct we were developing to treat this infection of this bacteria with a different type of medicine. However when we compared it to the standard of care (ie antibiotics), treatment was not as good.
      However, as you probably know; inappropriate use will lower their effectiveness, so they must be prescribed with care
