Hi Amez, Thank you for your excellent question. The scientific field is excellent in Northern Ireland with a foundation of two great universities, Queen’s University and Ulster University. We are home to three world renowned research centres, QUILL and IGFS at Queen’s and also NIBEC at Ulster. And there are a number of companies who over the last ten years have seen amazing growth in Almac and Randox. And both these companies have predicted they will double in size over the next few years so it is a great time to be a scientist in Northern Ireland.
