        Hi Holly,
        Thanks for the question.
        I don’t think I’ve saved any children’s lives so far. Our vaccines are at the research stage. Although, my PhD work was focussed on part of the malaria vaccine that the company GSK has just got approval to use and have tested it in 1000’s of children in Africa. Some of those children were protected. So maybe, in hindsight, a tiny part of my work, along with 1000s’ of other researchers hard work and effort has saved a few lives to date.
