• Question: Knowing your four favourite subjects, what made you know for sure that you wanted to go down the medical field?

      I’m not too sure; partly a gut instinct, partly chance. I really loved understanding how nature worked and how systems balance. Part of being in the medical field is pure chance; my PhD was the first time I got interested in vaccines, before that I was very interested in how cells work. All of this is very complementary. Once you get the feel for it though & begin to understand the field, it’s addictive!
