I didn’t study at UCC but having worked there for 10 years I can say it has excellent students and research facilities, and the city is a great place to live.
Hi 927drud32,
Yes, it was a great university to attend. Your college years should be a very special time, when you make lifelong friends and grow as a person as well as growing your intellect. It also helps when you have some idea of what you might want to do “when you grow up”. However lots and lots of students (and graduates!) don’t fully know this and that’s fine.. as long as you enjoy it at the time. I started university thinking that I wanted to do chemistry, then plant science & finalised on doing biochemistry. My PhD was on immunology and now a high portion of my collaborators are engineers. A long and winding road!
