      To control the growth of cells and so develop medicines for diseases where cell growth is the cause (cancer and other proliferative diseases)

      To significantly increase access to vaccines; both vaccines that we currently have but are not adequately used (due to cost or logistics) and to make nwe vaccines for diseases, such as malaria or HIV.
