My favourite thing is that I am a really curious person, I always like to know what is going on and why things happen, science helps me to answer some questions although it usually raises more questions than it answers! I still enjoy the journey and investigating.
I also like to work with numbers and science is full of numbers so it combines all the things that I enjoy doing!
My favourite thing about being a scientist is that I am always learning new things (even if sometimes I forget them). I really like to learn, and figure out problems, and this is a central part of being a scientist. I try to discover things that no-one else has discovered yet, which is really exciting, and along the way I get to learn new ideas to help me- or just for fun! These come from experiments, or reading, or talking to people about what they do, or what they like in science.
Hi Aisling,
I like taking the mystery out of the world a little at a time. There are a lot of questions unanswered about the world and how we live in it – more than we ‘ll ever be able to answer a fraction of but the pursuit asking question’s and then answering them is what make’s my work so interesting
