• Question: Does solar panels only create energy or also take up a bit of energy?

      The only energy that a solar panel uses is the energy required to produce them and transport them. But this energy is paid back once the solar panel starts working and producing electricity.

      They would have required energy to make them and also when operating the solar thermal ones have a pump to pump the water.
