I think AI will be very important in the future. Some things that AI might let us achieve is self-driving cars that could prevent loss of life on the roads, for medicine AI could allow people without limbs to have robotic limbs that could be controlled.

Thinking about the future of A.I. is both frightening and exciting. The applications that Emma listed are exciting and there are many more. You could even imagine a world where most tasks are handled by A.I. robots and machines. But what will that mean for us? Will we end up like the humans in the movie Wall-E (check it out if you haven’t seen it…. great movie).
Technology advances at a rate much faster than evolution. Physiologically we haven’t evolved much from our hunter-gatherer ancestors. Our bodies have evolved over millions of years to be fine-tuned for survival in a harsh, dangerous and demanding environment, both physically and mentally. How will we adapt to a world in which everything is done for us?
