My college lecturers inspired me to be a scientist, seeing how fun there jobs were made me want to do it too!

I suppose my grandad in the first instance, he worked in heavy industry in Manchester making large electrical equipment, and then my school teachers were very influential in my career path.

Can’t say it was one specific person. I always found it interesting to figure out how things around work. And my school teachers did a great job teaching me to be curious and question things around me and to look for answers to satisfy this curiosity.
