Chats are 40-minute text-based sessions for students to talk with scientists.

On clicking ‘Confirm Booking’ you’ll see a confirmation message, and will receive an email confirming your booking, with a link to print your students login details.

Live Chat Bookings

Teachers – Book your Chat with the scientists using the form on this page.
Scientists – Go to your Zone to sign up for available chats on your Dashboard

Teachers – Booking your Chat:

  • You need to be logged in to book your Chat
  • You need to book the Chat using the correct student batch codes for that Zone
  • Chats are 40 minutes long
  • We’ll confirm your Chat booking with an email

Useful information:

  • If you need to cancel or rearrange your Chat for any reason, click “cancel” next to the booking on your dashboard.
  • The latest you’ll be able to book a live Chat is 24 hours in advance; this allows the scientists enough time to let us know if they can make it.

  • View your dashboard to see which scientists will be at your Chat. If no one is available at your booking time, we’ll be in touch with you to rearrange.
