Too many to write about here! I have keen interest in field of biomimicry (https://biomimicry.org/biomimicry-examples/). Biomimicry is a term that describes use of nature inspired ideas in our engineering and scientific world. One great example is kingfisher – small bird that shape of a beak inspired high speed trains in Japan (“Shinkansen”). The special shape of the bird’s beak make it very easy for the bird to dive into the water – the beak “cuts” through the water. High speed trains need to cut through the air – this can create massive problems when such train enters a tunnel – loud bang can be heard that can damage neighboring homes and it is very unpleasant for humans. You can listen to this and other stories in this podcast https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/w13xttw7 .

I have interests in reaction-diffusion systems that can be used for computational purposes and scientists think that they might be how some of the animals got their patterns on their skin – https://turing-pattern-project.group.shef.ac.uk/turing-pattern/
