Yes for sure, but the word ‘cure’ probably would not describe it.
Scientists are working really hard and fast to figure out how to stop covid19. We have made so much progress in just 1 year, and basically made vaccines over just a few months! Vaccines are the closest thing we have to a cure. It is very difficult to completely get rid of a virus, but if we can reduce the numbers to very low amounts so that most people are vaccinated and protected, the virus will eventually stop being able to infect people and fade away.
