      Hi Jack,
      I think the most important fact for me is that science is one big experiment and you should not be afraid to be wrong. As Einstein said: “If we knew what were doing, this wouldn’t be research”. Important thing is not to repeat the same mistakes too often, at least consciously.
      I am still puzzled by the idea that we can communicate wirelessly especially over long distances – like edge of the solar system – check Voyager mission.This is all thanks to little moving electrons in the wires (those especially shaped wires we call antennas), in fact most of the forces that we experience in our daily lives are due to electromagnetic interactions of molecules and atoms. Anyway, you phone can communicate over several kilometers and the power received in the antenna of the phone is something like 1×10^(-7) that is 0.0000001 of W, the average LED light bulb is about 5W that is about 5 billion times more!
