Trinity is an excellent choice to study science, its the top rated university in Ireland and the professors which lecture the science course are experts and world class researchers.
What area of science are you interested in?
In your final year you get the opportunity to do a research project for 3 months, I did nano-science, physics chemistry and math and I was lucky enough to get to go to Australia to do my project, and my classmates went to places like America, Canada and all over Europe. I’d recommend coming to one of the open days and seeing for yourself what it’s like!
I don’t know what year you’re in but the next one is Saturday the 10th of November, the have one every year though and I’d recommend going in transition year! https://www.tcd.ie/openday/
There are lots of parts of science which require programming and modelling on computers.
I think it would be important to ask yourself what parts of computer science do you think you might like, is it the hardware part of computers or the software part of computers, is it writing apps and programs or writing code to control hardware?
If you like certain parts of science you could certainly put science and computer science interests together!
