0 Question: What is the heaviest metal? Keywords: metal, weight Asked by 472newp27 to Triona, Simone, Kieran, Julia, Hugh, Emily on 5 Nov 2018.
Hugh Manning answered on 5 Nov 2018:
If we were to imagine a block of metal the size of a tennis ball, the weight of that would depend on the material we make it out of.
To make it as heavy as it could possibly be we would use the densest metal, which is Osmium. The worlds rarest and densest metal!
If you had the same size ball of Osmium and Lead, the Osmium ball would be twice as heavy!
