I don’t know if inspired was the right word but I have watched a lot of science programming because I am interested in science in general! When I was young I loved watching documentaries about science (space, dinosaurs, weather, nature)
I can recommend a few well done YouTube channels too!
I always loved BBC documentaries, especially with Sir David Attenborough narrating it! Watched them since I was a kid, so they sort of inspired me.
I also watch a few youtube channels now, just to feed my curiosity. https://www.youtube.com/c/3blue1brown – all about math, but animated and visualized. Not often you can see that, it’s usually just numbers and formulas (high school level math and up, though) https://www.youtube.com/c/itsokaytobesmart – scientific and fun answers to many- many random questions – from “why there’re seven days in a week?” to “why we are ticklish?” https://www.youtube.com/c/eons – all about the history of life on Earth, loads of cool dinosaurs and many curious creatures.
