I had an anatomy class during my studies at university. For me, visuals really help: diagrams, pictures (I even drew some myself to understand better). There’s plenty of good youtube videos now. When I started my PhD I needed to learn all the definitions again in English, luckily only for legs and skeleton (less work) and I still have pictures with bones, muscles, knee structure on hanging the wall beside my desk.
