Since the knee is a joint is a connection between bones. On the top of the knee there’s a hip bone called femur, on the bottom part there’re actually two lower leg bones: bigger one called tibia, and smaller one on the side – fibula. And of course knee cap (patella) in the front. So – 4 bones.
