Question: My grandad had knee replacement surgery two years ago, do you know or have you studied any device which would allow older people to live pain free without the need for surgery

  Hi, hays49dug! Hope your grandad is doing good with his new knee.
  
  Unfortunately, our knees tend to wear down with age. And to the best of my knowledge, there’re currently no devices or drugs that can restore already damaged knees. So knee replacement, at least for now, is the best option, even though as any surgery it is quite traumatic and painful. We try to help people recover faster after surgery so they can be pain-free sooner.
