Yes, methane (CH4) produced by cattle and other ruminants (animals with complex digestive systems for processing and fermenting grass and other vegetation) is a potent greenhouse gas.

the cows we altered do produce methane which is very harmful to the environment. remember that we’re also the ones that breed those cows
