Probably lots of interesting deep marine organisms adapted to low light, low temperatures, and high pressure conditions. There are lots of animals that generate light down there using fluorescent pigments and / or tissue structures. The environment is so different to shallow marine settings that even though organisms are under similar evolutionary pressures to ‘up here’ that bizarre body shapes are more common.
