The most widely accepted theory (“out of Africa theory”) is that humans as we know them started in East Africa and then migrated from there to places like Europe. It is thought they headed to Europe about 40,000 years ago and people got to Ireland 9,00 years ago. No cars then so they would have walked out of Africa and eventually got a boat to Ireland.
And before that we were bacteria in the oceans, that evolved into some swimming creature, that evolved into an amphibious creature with legs that walked onto land. I heard that in the days of dinosaurs we were tiny mice creatures, that got bigger and turned into four-legged mammals, eventually evolving into a creature that walked upright. When we evolved into something like apes, we started eating meat, and the extra protein allowed our brains to grow a lot bigger. As we got smarter we made tools and developed complex social interactions. Then we started wearing pants, and here we are!
