      It probably is. We can only see so far, because the universe (space) is expanding. If we look far enough away, we don’t see anything because the universe is only so old (13.7 billion years old), so light from stars that are beyond a distance of 13.7 billion light years, has not had time to reach us yet. So, because we can only see so far, no one can say whether space is infinite or not.
