• Question: how could you seperate water?

      You can split water into Hydrogen and Oxygen by using electrolysis. This means putting an electric current though the water. You put two electrodes (pieces of metal) attached to the negative and positive sides of a power supply (Like the two ends of a battery) into the water. The Hydrogen gas forms at the negative electrode and oxygen at the positive electrode.

      And some day we might drive cars that run on hydrogen fuel cells- and they combine hydrogen and oxygen to make water.
