  Everything is made up of atoms. Depending on what is inside a particular atom (i.e number of protons, neutrons and electrons) you get different elements (like Iron and oxygen and gold etc). EVERYTHING is made up of a combination of these elements, so the world is made of atoms! Hurrah!

  We are all made of atoms- As the physicist Bohr said, “an physicist is an atoms way of looking at it self”. The majority of atoms were created in the big bang (hydrogen, helium), more were created by fusion in the cores of stars (carbon, oxygen, iron, etc.), and the heaviest ones were created in supernovae (uranium, radium, etc.). So a lot of what we are is star dust… Crazy to think about…
