• Question: How is wax made?

      Wax comes naturally things like plants and animals (think beeswax and your earwax ..eew!) and then there is petroleum based waxes, which are made from things like paraffin.

      I always found it strange that you can burn wax. Especially paraffin, which is really flammable. I guess it seems like it should just quietly melt, like candles do…
