Question: was it your dream job

Being an astrophysicist was my dream career. As far as the final job is concerned – I’m getting there! The plan is all mapped out though 😉 I aim to finish my PhD and then head off to California for a while to do a post – doc maybe in NASA JPL or Ames. But who knows where the next 4 years will take me, I’ve only started! I could become involved in an area of my project which might lead me to somewhere else than I had originally planned to go, and I’m very open to that. The good thing about doing a PhD is that I am constantly learning transferable skills which could be applicable when taking on completely different projects in astrophysics.
