• Question: which is your fav star

      The Sun!! Without it, we would have no life on Earth.

      My second-favourite is a star called EG Andromedae. I spent 4 years studying it for my PhD so I feel like it’s an old friend 🙂

      Hi caseman,
      My favorite star is Gliese 581. This is because we now know that it has an Earth like planet that orbits it. The planet is called Gliese 581C and it was discovered in April 2007. However it is 22 light years away so we will not be going there anytime soon!

      40 Eridani A, this is a possible location for the Planet Vulcan (Star Trek).

      It is only 16 light years away. If I sent a message to Mr. Spock today I could get an answer in about 30 years from now.
