      But they make great movies.

      Probably not! However a study which modelled the effect of a zombie outbreak in the UK (the slow kind) and it didn’t end well because the first casualties would be taken to hospital where they would infect or kill all the doctors!
      In reality it’s very unlikely as after death the muscles become very stiff. You may have heard of this as “rigor mortis”. It means that they probably couldn’t move for 24 hours after death. After that their bodies would break down and decay pretty fast so it’s really just science fiction!
