Question: what is the most extreme temperature the extremeophile can tolerate?

Some can tolerate 122°C! That’s above boiling point of water!

Hi Aoife, it’s a term we use to identify those organisms that live in very inhospitable environments like iceblocks, volcanic vents, the dead sea, they are vry fascinating organisms becasue they manage to adapt to living conditions that are unthinkable for more evolved species!
