      The vast majority of scientists neither has a permanent position nor a good salary, but I’d assume fulfilling content to work on!

      Some are paid very well & some are paid not so well. But the good thing about science is that you are learning all the time so thats makes the job interesting.

      Most scientists are paid less than their friends and family working in other industries. If you want to earn more money as a scientist, you can work in private industry. Universities, national institutes and public/government offices tend not to pay very well, considering the amount of education you are expected to have in order to get the job.
