      The deepest point in the ocean is in the Mariana trench, the maximum known depth is 10,984 meters. As a comparison, Mount Everest’s highest peak is 8,848 meters.

      The deepest point known to man are in the Mariana trench at 10,994 meters deep. That is still much bigger than Mount Everest.
