The bottom of the sea contain all sorts of creatures, rubbish and a lot of mystery still. The deepest-ever dive (10,927 meters) into the Mariana trench found a plastic bag.

Mystery! We don’t really know as it’s so deep that we can’t sample that far down. Probably lots of really cool bacteria that can survive extreme conditions and very flat sea creatures due to the pressure of all that water!

      Many interesting things.
The bottom of the ocean is as diverse as the surface of the earth, it depends where you look at:
-Abyssal plains, flat plains where a lot of life is happening, living on what falls from above.

-Mid ocean ridges, mountain chains longer that all mountain on earth, that are formed by continents moving apart from each other.
-Volcanoes, that creates undersea mountains sometimes to form an new island:

      -Canyons, larger than any others:

-Hydro-thermal springs, places where hot liquids rise from the sea floor, providing nutrient for all sort of life:

And maybe many more that this that we have not found yet…
